Eric Schellenberger – President
Eric has led the Metrix business since 2008 and was instrumental in helping to build the SETPOINT team and validate the SETPOINT vision. He has broad business expertise with deep financial management underpinnings. He has been with Roper Industries since 2003, assuming increasing levels of executive responsibility across multiple businesses. Eric is a Certified Public Accountant and prior to his roles within Roper, he held a variety of leadership roles for 15 years within Ingersoll-Rand and BDO.
Randy Chitwood – VP, Condition Monitoring
Randy came to Metrix in 2009 after a 30+ year career at Bently Nevada as engineering and product development leader. Randy was the visionary behind the SETPOINT concept and family of products, and was responsible for the development of the world’s most successful machinery protection systems over the last three decades.
Matt Nelson – Director, Engineering
Matt came to Metrix in 2009 after a 25+ year career at Bently Nevada as a principal engineer. Matt has extensive experience designing proximity transducer and transmitter systems, as well as continuous and scanning-based monitoring architectures. Matt also brings a wealth of experience in Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessment, having led efforts to obtain SIL certification on prior monitoring architectures for which he was responsible.
Scott Breeding – Director, Sales & Services
Scott came to Metrix in 2011 after 12 years at Bently Nevada as a services leader. Prior to that, Scott served a distinguished career in the U.S. Navy as a commander with extensive experience in maintenance and reliability. Scott has traveled to every continent (excluding Antarctica) delivering project management, sales, and service expertise including transducer and monitor system installation and commissioning, oversight of contractors, and Site / Factory Acceptance Testing.
Steve Riggs – Director, Business Development
Steve came to Metrix in 2009 after a 35+ year career at Bently Nevada as sales and services leader. Steve has extensive experience organizing and mobilizing a global salesforce, conducting business internationally, and in meeting the commercial and technical needs of customers. He is passionate about creating and sustaining an environment that is customer-centric, helping to make Metrix synonymous with “easy to do business with.
Steve Sabin – Director, Marketing and Product Management
Steve came to Metrix in 2010 after a 20+ year career at Bently Nevada as a marketing leader. He has overseen development of more than a dozen websites, served as editor-in-chief of a technical journal on machinery protection and condition monitoring, managed all communications and product marketing for a $250 million business, and, since 1999, has served as secretary of the API 670 Task Force. In addition to his experience in communications and product management, Steve has extensive hands-on experience as a sales engineer in this industry.
